Environmental fungal spore aerosolization: a review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Bioaerosol containing fungal spores became public health hazards. The aerosols contain the of different species Aspergillus, Cladosporium, Chaetomium, Penicillium, Wallemia, Stachybotrys etc. and caused various life-threatening respiratory diseases such as hypersensitivity, pneumonia, Aspergillosis, Candidiasis, Mucormycosis, Cancer, They are easily transmitted from one individual to another. also cause extreme damage crops create problems in food security by producing mycotoxins. transmissions depend upon environmental factor, seasonal variation, growth surface, type spore, There biophysical, biochemical molecular techniques that present detect aerosol. numerous physical chemical agents can kill fungi. Good be achieved through detection management aerosols.

Global fungal spore emissions, review and synthesis of literature data
The present paper summarizes fungal spore emission fluxes in different biomes. A literature study has been conducted and emission fluxes have been calculated based on 35 fungal spore concentration datasets. Biome area data has been derived from the World Resource Institute. Several assumptions and simplifications needed to be adopted while aggregating the data: results from different measuremen...
متن کاملFungal spore transport through a building structure.
The study carried out laboratory measurements with a full-scale timber frame structure to determine penetration of inert particles with size distribution from 0.6 to 4 microm and spores of Penicillium and Cladosporium through the structure. Pressure difference over and air leakage through the structure were varied. Measurements at moderate pressure differences resulted in the penetration factor...
متن کاملRibonucleic acid synthesis during fungal spore germination.
Spores of several fungi were examined in an effort to understand the role of RNA in the biochemical events occurring early in germination. RNA synthesis appeared to be an essential requirement for germination in Neurospora crassa and Aspergillus nidulans but not in Alternaria solani and Peronospora tabacina. Gross changes in the relative amounts of the various molecular species of RNA were not ...
متن کاملEvaluation of hirst-type spore trap to monitor environmental fungal load in hospital
The main purpose was to validate the use of outdoor-indoor volumetric impaction sampler with Hirst-type spore traps (HTSTs) to continuously monitor fungal load in order to prevent invasive fungal infections during major structural work in hospital settings. For 4 weeks, outdoor fungal loads were quantified continuously by 3 HTSTs. Indoor air was sampled by both HTST and viable impaction sampler...
متن کاملEnvironmental thoron (220Rn) : A review
Ever since studies on uranium miners established the presence of a positive risk coefficient for the occurrence of lung cancer in miners exposed to elevated levels of 222Rn and its progeny, there was a great upsurge of interest in the measurement of 222Rn in the environment and considerable data is generated on the levels of 222Rn in the environment across the worlds and is periodically ...
